THE LITERARY LAB

Endless want

I waited for so long,
ma heart hurt long,
tears streamed outta ma eyes non-stop,
I anticipated that change,
a new era I hoped for,
it didn’t come,
Then I carried on,
closing up on maself,
trying so hard to flush out memories,
the happy ones I clenched to,
How can I show you the depth of ma sorrow?
I so much long for that tommorrow,
where there’ll be peace within,
everything glowing in the flourescence of Love,
happiness with no bounds,
where I’ll look back at times like this and smile.
